2009 is an important year in the life of First Presbyterian Church of Jonesboro. It is the:

• 500^th anniversary of the birth of John Calvin (July 10^th)
• 130^th anniversary of the organization of the Jonesboro Presbyterian Church (September 28^th)
• 20^th anniversary of the merger of the Jonesboro Presbyterian Church and the Forest Park Presbyterian Church
• 5th anniversary of the dedication of the Sanctuary (September 26^th)

Individually, each of these events is worthy of celebration. Together, they give us a cause to rejoice all year long.
